Kirtlington is situated about 10 miles North of Oxford on the B4095 road between Woodstock and Bicester. Very much a living village with an excellent Post Office combining the Village Stores & a small café within, in fine weather seating in the courtyard garden is available. Many English villages have a ‘Big House’ close by, Kirtlington is no exception with Kirtlington Park. here the Kirtlington Park Polo Club is based which holds weekly matches during the summer season. World class players can be seen in action, visitors and spectators are made very welcome.
Another excellent facility is the Kirtlington Golf Club which is open to visitors offering golf in very pleasant surroundings, the club house is new, the pro shop open for club hire and sales, good quality food and drink can be bought and enjoyed inside or out on fine days. www.kirtlingtongolfclub.com
